Seeing With Your Eyes of Faith

What do you do when what you see going on in this physical world goes against what the word of God says? You have to use your eyes of faith.

“Well, what does that mean?” you may ask. This simply means looking at things the way God’s word says it is. For example, His word says in Philippians 4:19, “My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus,” but you look at your circumstances and see lack in some area of your life. This is where you want to use your eyes of faith.

Seeing with your eyes of faith is not looking at your present circumstance and agreeing with what you see. Instead, knowing that with God all things are possible, you agree with what God’s word says. In your mind’s eye, you see yourself with all your needs met!

If your need, request, or demand is to have good opportunities flowing to you, use your imagination to see God opening doors and providing opportunities. This is what it means to use your eyes of faith. And seeing with your eyes of faith is one of the requirements to walking by faith and not by sight. It’s one of the keys to gaining victory!

What area of your life do you need to start seeing the way God’s word says it is? Make a decision right now to say, “I’m going to look at this through my eyes of faith!” And then, Do It!
